Job Description
Morgan McKinley is currently seeking MEP Project Engineers (Mechanical) to work on a large-scale project in Denmark for a main Irish contractor.
Key Requirements:
* A 3rd Level Building Services/Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a site-based MEP role
* Experience working on hyperscale Data Centers with excellent IT skills
* A strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team
Key Responsibilities:
As the MEP Project Engineer, you will report to the MEP Department Manager Europe. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
* Aligning Mechanical activities to ensure they are completed in a safe manner, prioritizing the Health and Safety of all stakeholders
* Leading by example and ensuring all stakeholders are aware of Company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Being fully aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
* Having a full working knowledge of the project Mechanical systems and tracking systems installation to ensure compliance with specification and program needs
* Understanding project-specific commissioning requirements and assisting in the development of Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
* Completing site inspections of the Mechanical, BAS/BMS & CSA works to ensure installations conform to relevant requirements
* Coordinating that rooms or areas meet relevant CSA and MEP Quality standards and requirements
* Ensuring stakeholders receive necessary information for system installation progression
* Managing contractors and vendors to streamline electrical activities
* Reviewing the master construction schedule to identify opportunities and sequencing
* Chairing onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
* Issuing weekly progress and costs reports as required
* Managing sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels
