Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Administrator
We are seeking a Senior Financial Administrator to join our dynamic team in Belfast. This role offers a varied and integral position where you will enhance your skills in Financial Administration.
Your expertise in delivering high-quality administrative support is essential to the success of the team. You will be the primary contact for client queries relating to pensions, investments, and protection, as well as liaising with product providers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing client communications, both written and verbal
* Processing new business applications
* Preparing client review packs
* Coordinating client meetings and maintaining advisers schedules
* Producing illustrations and managing related requests
* Ensuring all financial planning administration complies with internal processes and regulatory requirements
* Maintaining accurate and well-organised client records
* Handling phone calls and queries professionally
* Providing general back-office support as needed
Requirements:
* Experience in a Financial Planning environment
* Professionalsim, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills
* Liaising with third parties
* Familiarity with financial platforms and back-office systems (e.g., IO)
* Ability to draft and proofread business correspondence with exceptional attention to detail
* Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Adaptability and a flexible approach to managing change
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude
Leadership and Team Management (Optional, based on experience):
* Support the recruitment and onboarding of paraplanners and administrative staff
* Manage and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
* Conduct regular performance reviews and identify professional development opportunities for team members
* Ensure team adherence to company processes and compliance requirements
