The 4* Athlone Springs Hotel is currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team.
The Role: We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section within the kitchen and ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
* Thrive in a high-pressure setting, maintaining composure.
* Maintain fluency in English and the ability to work independently.
* Adapt to a fast-paced kitchen, being capable of working on all sections.
* Uphold the highest standards in food hygiene, service, and presentation with HACCP Certification.
* Assist senior chefs in delivering a high level of service.
* Monitor portion control and waste management to maintain profit margins.
The Ideal Candidate:
* The ideal candidate must have experience in a similar role.
* Have experience working in a busy environment.
* Work well in a pressurized environment.
* Fluent in English.
* Must be able to work under own initiative.
* Experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Flexible - capable of working on all sections.
* Maintain the highest standard in food hygiene, service and presentation (HACCP Certification).
* Helping and assisting the senior chefs to execute a high level of service.
* Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margin.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
* Should have at least a year's experience in a commercial kitchen.
* HACCP knowledge and training.
* A genuine passion for cooking.
* Ability to work in a clean and organised manner.
* Fluent English.
