International House Dublin is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to focus on driving and increasing sales. This role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of programs, including Adults, Juniors, High School Programmes, and Teacher Training. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with agents and partners, maintaining and expanding business opportunities, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets across various markets.
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the client base.
o Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
2. Agent Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture relationships with existing agents and partners, ensuring excellent customer service and ongoing collaboration.
o Develop strategies to engage with dormant agents and re-establish partnerships where possible.
o Negotiate and manage agent agreements.
o Act as a key ambassador for IH Dublin’s programs, including Adults, Juniors, HSP, and Teacher Training.
o Deliver compelling presentations, attend fairs, and host webinars to promote the school’s offerings.
o Ensure marketing material is effectively utilized and up-to-date.
3. Business Development:
o Identify and target new markets or underrepresented regions.
o Develop partnerships with corporate and institutional clients for bespoke training programmes.
4. Travel and Representation:
o Represent IH Dublin at international events, agent workshops, and networking opportunities across markets.
o Conduct regular business trips to meet agents and potential clients face-to-face, strengthening relationships.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
o Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions in the CRM.
o Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback.
o Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction and seamless delivery of services.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the education or language training sector.
* Deep understanding of markets and cultural nuances.
* Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
* Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
* Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
* Experience in managing agent networks within the language education industry.
* Familiarity with programmes such as Juniors, HSP, or Teacher Training.
* Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
