Duties
* Establish, enhance, and uphold precise documentation of quality control activities and inspections throughout the project lifecycle. This encompasses certificates, calibration test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instructions, and observations.
* Ensure projects are executed to the highest standards and are strictly in accordance with all the regulatory requirements, design drawings, specifications, technical submittals, manufacturer’s recommendations and all other relevant project specific documentation.
* Maintain comprehensive records of permanent materials delivered, test plans, and any other necessary QA/QC documents.
* Lead the quality ethos, set benchmarks and encourage quality improvement.
* Formulate and implement precise project quality plans aimed at fulfilling client specifications with accuracy and excellence.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with industry and quality standards, codes, regulations, and customer specifications, with particular focus on ensuring the ongoing achievement of ISO9001, ISO45001 & EN-1090 standards.
* Manage quality delivery in a lively fabrication workshop environment.
* Initiate and oversee frequent site visits to uphold project standards.
* Oversee QA documentation for all projects, ensuring meticulous data collection.
* Liaise with site teams to coordinate handovers, schedule walk-downs, and develop snag lists.
* Review installations for compliance with Company QP & ITPs, project standards, specifications, design, procedures, and expectations.
* Manage 3rd party inspections and NDT contractors to ensure adherence to project requirements.
* Comprehend customer needs and requirements to formulate, modify, or enhance efficient quality control processes that bolster project delivery.
* Actively monitor customer feedback to promptly address any quality-related concerns and continuously improve processes to align with evolving customer expectations.
Skills And Requirements
* Relevant mechanical/quality qualification.
* Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of Piping Systems and P&IDs essential.
* RWC
* Further Quality Inspection qualifications would be advantageous, E.g., Paint & Coatings.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
