The Role My client, a well-established facilities management company is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their team.
This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position.
As the Bid Writer you will be responsible for creating & completing compelling tender responses, PQQs and PowerPoint presentations to secure new contracts whilst collaborating with internal teams.
Tasks & Duties Develop and Deliver Winning Bids: Craft persuasive, compliant bid documents that align with client requirements while showcasing the company's unique strengths.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with the bidding team, subject matter experts, and internal departments to gather key insights and ensure cohesive, accurate submissions.
Content Development: Write, proofread, and edit bid responses, PQQs, and presentations to maintain clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
Bid Library Management: Build and maintain a repository of standard responses, templates, and case studies to enhance efficiency and consistency in future bids.
Post-Submission Review: Analyse client feedback to refine future bids and improve success rates.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality proposals.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred.
Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive content, translating complex technical details into engaging narratives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for creating compelling content.
Experience with CRM systems and bid management tools is advantageous.
Exceptional organisational skills, with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement in both content and processes.
Strong research and analytical abilities, enabling a tailored approach to client needs and effective problem-solving.
Team-oriented and customer-focused, with the ability to collaborate well and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while remaining adaptable in fast-paced environments.
