Key Responsibilities of this Food Retail Manager role:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of this thriving store, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business goals.
* Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.
* Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring optimal availability and minimal waste.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety standards, and legal requirements.
* Analyse store performance metrics, identifying and implementing improvements where necessary.
* Build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers to foster a positive and productive environment.
* Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
Requirements for this Store Manager job:
* Previous experience as a Convenience Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
* Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
* Experience in stock management, merchandising, and financial reporting.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
