**EHS Advisor Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Advisor to join our client, a top 20 main contractor in Ireland and the UK.
With over €100 million turnover and continuous growth, they are looking for talented individuals to join their team.
The role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and progressive organisation within the construction industry.
The successful candidate will join an established HSQE Department and report to the HSQE Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of ISO/OHSAS Management Systems.
* Familiarity with the construction industry and the roles of Main Contractor and Project Supervisor Construction Stage.
* Implementing the company's health, safety, quality, and environmental policy, procedures, and management systems.
* Coordinating EHS across multiple projects.
* Advising and assisting site management in drafting and communicating Method Statements & risk Assessments, Safe Plans of Action, and Toolbox Talks.
* Communicating with Site Management/Client/Subcontractors and providing advice, guidance, and instruction in all health & safety matters.
* Delivering Site Specific Induction programmes for new employees or sub-contractors working on site.
* Undertaking scheduled Site Audit Inspections and communicating results to site and senior company management.
* Ensuring all accidents are reported, recorded, and investigated, and suitable notifications are proactively reported.
* Implementing the company's behavioural safety programme on site.
Requirements:
* Relevant health & safety qualification.
* Over 3 years of experience as an EHS Coordinator/Adviser within the construction industry.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
