Caseworker Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable caseworker to work with us at our Turas Nua Kilkenny office, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 (on-site). The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and administration experience, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About Turas Nua
Turas Nua is an Irish employability services provider that supports people who are over 12 months unemployed or employed part-time on low earnings. We deliver intensive, targeted, and personalised employment support services through our IPNES contract.
Purpose of the Role
As a caseworker, you will work with clients referred by the Department of Social Protection to IPNES. You will manage a caseload of clients, coordinating internal support specialists and external organisations to provide a tailored support service. This includes providing one-to-one advice and guidance to help clients achieve sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage a robust case management plan for each client, working towards full-time employment.
* Use industry-leading assessment technology to identify client goals, ambitions, and barriers to employment.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to clients, including job search support when they are ready.
* Identify and recommend training solutions in consultation with in-house tutors.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the local labour market.
* Achieve daily and monthly contractual key performance indicator targets.
* Ensure accurate recording of client interactions on the CRM system.
Person Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have:
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
* Minimum of three years' experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
* Strong IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Excellent administrative skills and data entry abilities.
* Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse individuals.
* Experience delivering presentations and public speaking.
* Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
