RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN ACTIVITIES:
* Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance team
* Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the management team
* Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
* Advising on long-term business and financial planning
* Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets
* Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
* Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
* Complies with HSE rules and complies with any internal rules in force in the company including Code of Ethics.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred)
* Professional accreditation (ACCA/CIMA)
* Extensive experience in senior financial managerial roles, with a proven track record of success.
* Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management and external stakeholders.
* Must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
* Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
* Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
* Experience of MS Excel, Oracle and Sage Financials would be an advantage.
