The Dublin Treasury team consists of Cash Management, GCM Operations, Bank Administration, Payment Operations, and other areas including Risk & Compliance.About the roleWhat you need to know:In this role you will be responsible for Cash Management Treasury activities which include positioning, forecasting, funding, cash management and variance analysisOptimization of cash pooling processes and yield on short term cash available for investment while managing daily cash positioning and forecasting in the respective region, ensuring adequate liquidity is available to meet the business wide needsConduct forecast variance analysis by partnering with individuals in the various business units and departments throughout the organizationMaintain good relationships with our transactional global banking partners, provide advisory support to the company payment processes and partner with Treasury Compliance team to ensure all activities and duties are carried out within the respective global standards and policiesAdditionally, you will be dealing with ad-hoc requests from various AIG businesses and going to be part of or lead various Treasury projects involving collaboration with IT, Finance and other Treasury functionsThe role will involve a combination of teamwork and close collaboration with a small team of 4-5, as well as independent management of itemsThere may also be additional responsibilities as the need arisesWhat we’re looking for:3+ years of work experience in a Corporate Treasury or Cash Management environmentBA degree in Finance, Business or Treasury related accreditation preferredPrior cash management experience, performing target balancing, monitoring of bank accounts, generating cash forecasts and cash position reportsFamiliarity with payments and reporting such as Swift messaging types and formats, including MT101/MT940/MT950Prior experience with Treasury Management systems and electronic banking systems, preferably KyribaProven ability to multi-task, and independently and effectively manage and prioritize a varied workloadDemonstrated awareness of the importance of controls and risks, including ideally experience of responding to SOX audit requestsAbility to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve items to completion without close oversight is essentialMust be able to communicate information clearly and concisely to stakeholders as needed, including to Senior Management, in both written and verbal formatPrior experience with implementations of Treasury Technology Projects an advantageExcellent attention to detail is a mustStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills desirableMust be fluent in written and spoken EnglishExperience of responding to KYC/AML/Sanctions requests from banks desirableWork Shift:North America: 14:00-22:30 Irish Standard Time (IST)A look at our benefitsAt AIG, we have a 100-year legacy of working to make the world a better place.
