Job Description
This 12 month fixed term contract within a leading FMC business based in Cork City is an exciting opportunity to develop and grow your career within the credit control sector.
My client requires an experienced Accounts Recievable/Credit Control Specialist to support the department manager and lead the team to meet their daily KPI's and analyse complex debt ledgers and identify key issues requiring strong analytical and numerical skills.
Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
Preparing and presenting the weekly Accounts Receivable (AR) update pack to the wider Retail Finance team.
Responsible for preparing and review of the AR deck for Credit Committee review and discussion prior to submission to Group.
Supporting the Credit Manager in reviewing retailer cash-flows/financial information to agree and upload repayment plans. Engage with the Retail Accountants in ensuring all repayment plans are being adhered too.
Providing accounts receivable data upon request from various stakeholders (Retailers, Retail Accountants, SuperValu and Centra Sales Teams etc.).
Actively involved in quarterly Debtors Risk review.
Supporting the Credit Control Manager in dealing with external & internal audit queries.
Supporting the Credit Control Manager in updating periodic reports for other departments.
Managing RDD Charge process opposite our retail partners.
Calculating stocktake adjustments between retailers and deliver feasible repayment plans. Responsible of the drafting and issuing of Stock Finance letters.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
A strong systems orientation, be highly numeric & technical with strong attention to detail.
Strong Excel skills an advantage.
Have proven ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a varied workload.
Excellent communication and influencing skills coupled with an ability to build relationships across functions.
Team Management desirable
Strong communication skills and ability to build & maintain relationships with key stakeholders
A team player with strong collaboration skills
Excellent analytical and excel skills
