Job Description
What You'll Do:
1. Facilitate and Optimize ART Processes: Lead and facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) events, including PI Planning, ART syncs, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
2. Align and Coordinate Teams: Ensure alignment across multiple Scrum teams within the ART, promoting collaboration and resolving dependencies and impediments.
3. Implement SAFe Practices: Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of SAFe practices and principles across the ART.
4. Performance Metrics: Gather, analyze, and report on ART performance metrics and KPIs to stakeholders, ensuring continuous delivery and process improvement.
5. Support Product Management: Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity and prioritization of the program backlog.
6. Foster Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the ART, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Mentor and Coach: Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile best practices and SAFe principles.
8. Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business goals.
9. Support Geographically Dispersed Teams: Facilitate collaboration and communication among teams located in different geographical areas to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
What You'll Bring:
1. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Agile roles, including Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Release Train Engineer roles.
2. SDLC Expertise: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and associated best practices.
3. Agile Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and frameworks, specifically SAFe, with familiarity in LeSS or Nexus being a plus.
4. Facilitation Skills: Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to manage large groups and complex discussions effectively.
5. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
6. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
7. Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate multiple cross-functional teams.
8. Technical Understanding: Strong technical understanding to effectively engage with development teams.
9. Experience with Dispersed Teams: Demonstrated success in working with and coordinating geographically dispersed teams.
10. Certification: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification would be beneficial but not essential.
This is primarily an Agile Coaching role; SAFe experience is preferred but not essential.
