Logistics Coordinator
A renowned company serving the UK and globally seeks an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee project planning and delivery in commercial and residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Arrange freight quotes and coordinate delivery schedules.
* Estimate customs charges and raise Purchase Orders (POR).
* Communicate with suppliers to ensure deliveries are booked with approved freight companies.
* Work closely with the Logistics Manager to manage cross-docking and trans-shipping needs.
* Adjust delivery schedules and inform clients of storage costs when necessary.
Delivery Coordination:
* Work closely with Project Managers and Account Managers to arrange direct-to-site deliveries.
* Compile and maintain project delivery schedules.
* Ensure accurate communication of delivery dates and locations.
* Update systems to reflect any changes to delivery schedules.
General Administration & Support:
* Participate in virtual site inspections for projects under €350k.
* Process and approve freight and delivery invoices.
* Monitor and update delivery schedules and reports.
* Handle customer and supplier queries as needed.
Requirements:
* 3 years of experience in a similar logistics, scheduling, or coordination role.
* Strong planning, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.

* Comfortable handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
