* Job Title: Practice Director
* Contract: Full-time, Permanent
* Location: Gorey Veterinary Hospital, Wexford
* Salary: Up to €55,000 commensurate with experience
* Working Hours: 5 days per week / 40 hours
We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced management professional to join IVC Evidensia, the world's leading provider of veterinary services, based in Wexford.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Lead by example, promoting professional conduct, respect, and effective communication. Act as an ambassador for IVC Evidensia's culture, values, and brand.
* Management: Collaborate with Practice Leadership, Area Support Manager, Area Director, and Central Support teams. Oversee the practice rota, including out-of-hours provision, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* HR: Partner with the Talent team for recruitment and locum needs. Manage employee relations, absence, and documentation in coordination with the HR support team. Oversee onboarding, training, and performance appraisals. Prepare monthly payroll in line with company policies. Promote equal opportunities and diversity in all HR activities.
* Finance: Manage overall finances and stock control. Monitor performance trends and provide regular financial reports to Central operations.
* Marketing and Business Development: Plan and execute practice promotional events and marketing strategies. Maintain and update the practice website and social media pages. Uphold ethics & professional standards in accordance with VCI legislation & VPMA guidelines.
* Clinical: Work with the Clinical Director to ensure policies and procedures align with IVC Evidensia guidelines, VCI Practice Standards, and VDS guidelines. Promote clinical best practices and encourage peer reviews within the practice team.

* Experience in Business Management would also be beneficial.
* Full, clean drivers license required for the role.
