Role Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating with clients, and ensuring seamless communication between departments. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including preparing proposals, managing contracts, and maintaining customer records.
* Client Coordination: Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, scheduling meetings, and ensuring timely follow-ups to enhance client satisfaction.
* Order Processing: Manage the processing of sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in collaboration with the operations team.
* Data Management: Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate and current information.
* Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and analytics to assist the sales team in tracking performance and identifying opportunities.
* Communication: Facilitate effective communication between the sales team and other departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Educational Background: A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within the construction or building services industry.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems.
* Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
