re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is an electronics processing, reuse, and recycling company that works to extend the life of used electronic equipment through reuse, repair, and recycling. We are a stand-alone company within the Amazon corporate family that provides services to other Amazon companies.
re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for Technicians for its Reverse Logistics operation based in Dublin, Ireland. Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
1. Failure Analysis - Conduct a range of Testing, Repair, Sanitization and Disassembly across a variety of Data Center IT Server and Networking Equipment & Components.
2. Warehouse Management System - Shipping & Receiving parts, maintain inventory accuracy, carry out audits, and disposition parts as prescribed by Inventory/Warehouse Management System.
3. Inventory Management - maintain precise records of all commodities - inbound and outbound.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School or equivalent diploma
2. Experience in IT Repair, Computer Hardware/Components, Warehouse, Logistics, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
3. Good level of English language skills, able to read and take direction in English.
4. May participate in group lifts.
5. Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
6. Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
7. Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment.
8. Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance.
9. Perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
2. Demonstrated positive work attitude & leadership skills.
3. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
4. Understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory management warehousing practices.
5. Knowledge of IT Industry Logistics would be an advantage.
6. Reach Truck License.
7. Demonstrated ability to perform above minimum for extended periods of time.
8. Commitment to a culture of Safety & Security.
9. Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems.
10. Ability to operate using own initiative.
