Job Title: Business Excellence Specialist

Role Profile:
The ideal candidate will have experience of continuous improvement and business excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This role will report to the Tirln Business Excellence Manager, where you will work as part of a highly motivated and experienced Business Excellence team as well as site-based stakeholders to bring continuous improvement to life each day.
Responsibilities:
* Providing support in the area of operational excellence and continuously improving the LEAN maturity of the site you will support
* Contributing to the development of strategy focused on embedding a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the Tirln business
* Ensuring that the site daily management system (3M), KPI reviews and continuous improvement forums are embedded at all levels of the site
* Lead the RCA process and ensure its effectiveness in the elimination of waste in the site processes
* Couching and mentoring of employees at all levels in the use of LEAN systems & tools
* Facilitating the development, implementation & governance of business process improvement projects
* Building and maintaining effective working relationships across the business to ensure appropriate alignment with business process improvement projects
* Proactively working with people in all areas of the business to seek out opportunities for the elimination of waste and non-value added activity
* Recognising the importance of budget targets, constantly strive to reduce costs and improve efficiencies through a detailed knowledge of the process and a continuous goal of eliminating waste
* Communicating and engaging with people at all levels within the business in order to promote awareness and engagement
* Ensuring that the Business Excellence approach remains fully integrated into the business strategy
* Facilitating structured problem solving as well as training & mentoring site leadership team to embed root cause analysis in all areas
Requirements:
* Third level qualification or relevant experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement,Project Management
* Lean Six Sigma Green belt or Black belt certified is a distinct advantage
* Must have experience in a lean environment in a manufacturing organisation -hands on experience utilizing lean tools in an effective manner
* Knowledge of the Shingo mode, experience in change management and/or Project Management are an advantage
