Job Description:
* Taking an active part in the initial setup of new funds and liaising with tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries.
* Handling day-to-day operations of funds and following up with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
* Preparing periodic reports and regulatory reports for fund entities.
* Managing the audit and reviewing other fund-related reports.
* Reviewing tax returns and maintaining relevant contacts with tax authorities.
* Accurately recording time spent on client matters for correct invoicing.
* Proactively taking on additional responsibilities as required by managers or clients.
Your Profile:
* You are degree-educated in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
* You may have experience in fund administration, audit, or fiduciary services.
* You have knowledge of the fund industry, valuation, and accounting.
* You possess basic accounting knowledge for investment products and experience with closed-ended funds in real estate private equity or debt space is an asset.
* You understand securities commonly encountered in the fund industry, including equities, bonds, contracts for difference, options, and futures.
* You are fluent in English.
* You possess team spirit, strong client relationships, and initiative to act without direction when appropriate.
