Risk & Pre-Construction DirectorOur client, a leading construction firm, are seeking a Risk & Pre-Construction Director to join on a permanent basis. As part of the job, you will be pivotal in ensuring operations within the firm run smoothly, efficiently, and within the bounds of legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly qualified in the construction sector with experience and certifications within risk. Regular travel to the head office and occasionally to the UK and Europe will be involved in this job.Key Responsibilities of the Risk & Pre-Construction Director include:Identify and assess relevant risks associated with any pre-construction activitiesManage the pre-construction teams and implement plans for pre-construction and risk activities Oversee the preparation of detailed and accurate project estimates. Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to enhance project budgetsLiaise with Brokers regarding the Group Insurance schemesKey Requirements of the Risk & Pre-Construction Director include:Holder of a degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction Law or a related field At least 10 years of experience in construction including full Turnkey delivery, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of construction processes, risk management, and pre-construction activitiesProven leadership abilityRelevant certification within Risk ManagementThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm and work with top-level executives, gaining huge exposure over a number of areas.
