Senior Education Manager (Legal)
Your new role as Senior Education Manager (Legal) involves joining a reputable professional membership organisation that provides education services. This organisation is an educational, regulatory, and representative body for legal working professionals in Ireland.
You will be part of their diploma centre team, leading the development, management, and running of their portfolio of diploma and certificate courses.
The company requires a 2-year Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) commitment from you, with the possibility of working on Saturdays and outside normal office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and coordinating the Education Department's post-qualification diploma programme, including all Diploma Centre courses.
* Leading a large team of Diploma Centre staff.
* Preparing for and advance planning of the Diploma Centre portfolio of courses.
* Organising and conducting all necessary planning meetings for course preparation.
* Leading the annual MOOC project as part of the Law Society's Public Legal Education initiative.
* Developing new programmes for the portfolio.
* Ensuring high-quality standards across the portfolio.
* Leading the marketing strategy for the Diploma Centre.
* Assisting in teaching and tutoring on courses where appropriate.
* Coordinating financial planning for the diploma section, including projections, budget preparation, budget monitoring, and reporting.
Requirements:
* Recent relevant experience, along with knowledge of and experience in legal work.
* A legal background (preferably as a practising solicitor) is advantageous.
* Experience managing a team and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Project management experience is required.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a growth mindset.
* Clear and relevant examples of career achievements within a similar role are highly desirable.
