The ideal candidate will have experience in the Irish hotel market at a senior level. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, and managing relationships with clients and partners. Hotel experience is required.Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for Salthill Hotel, Eyre Square Hotel, and Victoria Hotel, ensuring alignment with each property's offerings and business objectives.Analyze market trends, customer segments, and competitors to create tailored marketing plans for each hotel.Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams across all three properties, fostering collaboration.Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive sales and guest satisfaction.Oversee the development of promotional materials and marketing campaigns, leveraging digital and traditional channels.Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure consistent brand identity across all channels and touchpoints.Develop and manage annual budgets for the sales and marketing departments, tracking ROI.Monitor market trends and guest feedback, adjusting strategies as needed.Represent the hotels at industry events, conferences, and trade shows in Ireland and abroad.Provide regular reports to senior management on sales and marketing performance, recommending improvements.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales and marketing within hospitality, events, or entertainment industries.Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and brand development.Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
