Description
BDO Ireland are seeking a dynamic and motivated marketing executive to join our Clients & Markets team. We’re looking for an experienced executive level marketer to take ownership of and drive key performance areas for marketing. This role would suit a self-motivated and well-rounded marketeer with experience across a broad range of channels. It requires adaptability, versatility and effective prioritization and organisation skills.
We’re a tight-knit team so seeking a team player with enthusiasm and willingness to bring new ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Marketing:
o Assist in the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media (paid and organic), email marketing, display advertising and SEM PPC.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging and compelling campaigns for digital platforms ensuring joined up thinking across other marketing channels (Events, PR, Print, Sponsorship).
o Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
o Support the implementation and management of paid advertising campaigns, including search engine marketing (SEM) and display advertising.
o Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize performance and drive ROMI (Return on Marketing Investment).
2. CRM System Management:
o Align all digital activities to automate and link through our company’s CRM system to effectively track and improve ROMI.
o Work with service lines to strengthen proficiency with utilising the CRM system for business benefit.
o Engage parties across the firm to ensure data accuracy and availability in the CRM to drive decision making.
o Optimise opportunities for improvement in management of CRM for client focused initiatives.
3. Market Research and Data Analysis:
o Provide support for the marketing team on all aspects of market research and report creation for the firm (internal and external).
o Sort through complex data to provide simple and clear insight, including a high level of proficiency with excel.
4. Additional Responsibilities:
o Help manage BDO's online presence, including website updates, blog posts, and social media profiles.
o Provide support and insight to service line teams across the firm as needed. This can involve support with presentations, marketing collateral, USP creation and go to market messaging.
o Possess the versatility to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in providing support as needed with other marketing areas as required: events, PR, sponsorships.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* 2-3 years' experience in a marketing role.
* Experience viewing marketing activities through a commercial lens.
* Some project management experience desirable.
* Strong interest in digital marketing, performance marketing, and data analysis
* Experience with digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media platforms, CRM systems including HubSpot highly desirable.
* Basic understanding of personalisation and conversion tracking i.e. (UTMs).
* Professional services experience desirable.
* Detail-oriented and organized with an analytical mindset and the ability to interpret and derive insights from data.
* Ability to work independently, autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A high level of proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is essential in this role.
