We are now inviting applications for the role of Commercial Financial Analyst for the Musgrave Retail Services (MRS) Business to join the Musgrave Finance Team.
Reporting to the Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland (MRPI) Senior Commercial Manager, while working closely with the MRS Head of Finance, MRPI Head of FP&A, MRPI Senior FP&A Manager and the wider MRS Management Team.
Key Responsibilities: Leading the MRS business to ensure a holistic view on Retail Sales performance is understood.Responsible for the sales budgeting and forecasting of MRS, working with both the MRPI & MRS teams to ensure alignment.Developing a store-specific knowledge on the drivers of performance and their impact on Budgeting, Forecasting & strategic sales planning.Supporting the strategic work on the key commercial levers within the MRS business.Responsible for analysing data to deliver insightful updates including performance updates for the Management Team.Ensuring that Finance department commercial reporting suite evolves to meet the changing needs of the business.Supporting the organic store business with a focus on the performance of online & store and in some instances category margin.Reporting on New Stores, Revamps & impacts of Competition.Supporting the Sales team with relevant business projects.Supporting strong financial control across the Musgrave Finance Department.The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a Senior Finance role.Significant experience managing stakeholders and operating with Senior Stakeholders within an organization.Highly numerate and strong on data analysis and interpretation.Knowledge of the Irish retail industry is a distinct advantage.Ability to make decisions at pace; working in a disciplined way with agility to adapt course quickly when required.Process excellence and systems-driven mindset (Anaplan experience is an advantage).Flexible and adaptable.Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.This is a 12-month contract.
