Customer Service Officer | Banking | Dublin
We are collaborating with a well-known Financial Services and Banking Institution that prides itself on its local feeling and understanding, aiming to be the best in customer service in their market.
They are seeking experienced Customer Service Officers to join their teams in Dublin 18.
Previous knowledge of banking products is highly desirable.
The role offers one-year temporary contracts through Staffline with weekly pay, with potential scope for contract extension or permanent opportunities based on business requirements.
A 5-week training induction will start in March, working hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm.
The Role
As part of a team, you will support across various operations within the branch.
You will communicate effectively with customers, helping the business provide an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
Assisting customers with queries and keeping them updated, as well as directing them to relevant divisions within the branch.
Serving as a point of contact for self-service options and guiding customers through kiosk processes.
Supporting the Teller team in processing lodgements when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a customer-facing service role within a banking/retail/hospitality environment.
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Good communication, interpersonal, and self-presentation skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft tools and adaptability to new technologies.
Completed Leaving Certificate.
Ability to attend in-person training induction in March.
This role is a controlled function as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011.
Applicants must meet the requirements set out in the Fitness and Probity Standards issued by the Central Bank.
