An experienced Site Manager is required for a major 9-months construction project which begins towards the end of February, based in Tallaght for a very busy construction firm.
The ideal candidate will come with around 5-6 years prior experience and ideally an appropriate degree in construction/building management, engineering, construction engineering management or civil/structural engineering.
Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals, such as surveyors, engineers, and architects.
* Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors.
* Reporting progress to clients and board members via phone calls, written reports, and presentations.
* Buying materials for each phase of the project.
* Monitoring build costs and project progress.
* Conducting quality and safety inspections, including health & safety practices and regulations are adhered to.
* Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
* Preparing all necessary paperwork, interim valuations etc.
* Maintaining quality control checks.
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise.
* Travel is sometimes necessary to meet with clients and sub-contractors.
