HR Generalist/ HR Business Partner
Location: Galway
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
* Act as a business partner to a defined client base to provide HR expertise, guidance, advice, and coaching to leaders.
* Provide HR support to the local Management Team on strategic HR processes, like Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning, Compensation, Employment Law/Relations, etc.
Manage the full life cycle of HR processes from Recruitment to Offboarding.
* Recruitment: Coordinate all recruitment activities at a local level and provide support at a global level – screening, shortlisting, interview coordination while working with the Global TA team to support senior roles.
* Onboarding: Oversee and administer new hire process including the drafting of contracts and new hire documentation, visa process management, relocation support, new hire orientation.
* Offboarding: Coordinate the leavers process, conducting exit interviews, benefits closure, and kick off the replacement process.
* Employee Relations: Provide support to employees and managers on any ER issues that arise including grievance and disciplinary processes, performance management, probation, and terminations.
* Benefits: Manage the day-to-day employee benefits admin, build relationships with our benefits providers, and support the HR Manager on the renewals process.
* Policies & Procedures: Review and update policies and procedures in line with business needs and legislative updates and provide training to managers and employees on the same. Provide guidance and interpretation of policies to employees and managers.
* HR Projects: Support the HR team in exciting projects such as the Global Knowledge sharing project, Gender Pay Gap Reporting, and other upcoming initiatives.
Key Requirements (Education and Experience)
* 3rd level qualification in Human Resources or a relevant associated discipline.
* 5 years’ experience in a demanding mid to senior HR Generalist / HRBP role.
* CIPD qualified or working towards.
* Excellent knowledge of Irish Employment Legislation.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal & written with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Suite.
* Must be a team player.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills.
