About the Role
We are expanding our services to meet the needs of those we care for. This key role is part of our Orchard Community Care division in Co. Sligo and Roscommon.
Purpose of the Role
Our goal is to provide the highest possible standards of support to those who use our service, ensuring compliance with government and health policies.
Main Responsibilities
1. Act as Person in Charge for existing services, ensuring adherence to regulations and quality standards.
2. Work autonomously and with initiative, taking lead on shift when on duty in the service.
3. Participate in direct care provision, assessing individual needs, and developing care plans.
4. Assist in training new team members, organising training programs, and facilitating workshops.
5. Maintain accurate documentation, monitor completion of required records, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
* Proven track record of managing a residential service meeting quality, regulatory/legislative requirements.
* Professional degree (min. level 7) in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification.
* Level 6 Management qualification.
* Experience in report writing, personal support plans, people and roster management.
* Full current driving license with access to own vehicle.
* Excellent IT skills.
