Responsibilities: Provide assessments and short-term counselling using a brief solution focused model.Refer clients to appropriate internal and external resources as required.Complete detailed case notes for all clients and submission of files as per clinical policy.Meet objectives as defined by Clinical ManagementUndertake E-Learning modules and trainings on a regular basis.Use of computer systems, when required, for booking client appointments, retrieving relevant organizational information.Must keep up to date on relevant regulatory and legislative developments.Participate in monthly one to one with clinical supervisor.Participate in weekly team meetings including professional development opportunities, both internal and externally as appropriate.Attending regular external supervision, with a qualified clinical supervisor. Succeeding as a Telecounsellor will require the following core qualifications, experience and skills:Hold a minimum of a Diploma Level 5 in Counselling or equivalent (which involved completing 100 hours in an organizational placement).A minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience working with clients.Have completed minimum 450 clinical hours (Not assessment hours).Registered membership with a professional association such as IACP or equivalent.Previous assessment and short-term counselling experience.Experience working in a brief solution focused counselling model together with telephone/video counselling experience.Strong risk assessment skills with regards to Child Welfare/Safety concerns, Suicide/Self-Harm, Substance Abuse etc.Good clinical judgement and understanding of your responsibilities regarding confidentiality; strong work ethic and professionalism.Excellent communication, problem solving, collaboration, cultural competency, interpersonal, self-care, time management and organizational skills.Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, One Note, SoftPhone etc.).You will receive a permanent position with benefits package including:Pension, Private Medical Insurance including Digital GP, Dental Plan, Life Insurance, Group Income Protection.24 days annual leave and two extra wellbeing days per year, in addition to bank holidays.Access to hundreds of perks including cashback offers and discounted gift cards on your favourite brands, discounted cinema tickets and more.EAP support provided in a fully confidential manner to ensure you get the support you need.
