Job Title: Homecare Manager
Responsible for:
The Homecare Manager will oversee the planning and implementation of initial homecare assessments and care plans with both prospect and existing Homecare Clients.
This role is Client and Healthcare Assistant facing, involving regular driving duties.
You spend approximately 30% of your working week in the office.
This position supports the client and a team of 30 Healthcare Assistants who provide care to our clients throughout Limerick City.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of both client and healthcare assistant teams.
* Ensure the overall welfare of Healthcare Assistants, supported by HR guidance.
* Liaise daily with Healthcare Assistants and Client Co-Ordinator's team.
* Understand and comply with HSE and HIQA governance requirements.
* Implement best practices, incorporating CPD principles.
* Promote clinical governance data to support quality assurance approaches.
* Develop and update care plans for clients as necessary.
* Evaluate competency skills assessments with all Healthcare Assistants.
* Establish professional relationships with primary care teams.
* Arrange meetings to support Healthcare Assistants, tracking actions and outcomes.
* Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees.
* Sustain effective team dynamics through communication, employee appraisal processes, and talent identification and development.

Essential Requirements
* Hold an active nursing registration (RN) with a valid pin number.
* Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
* Exhibit high attention to detail.
* Be proficient in basic IT systems.
