FP&A Analyst
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key role offering a diverse range of responsibilities and opportunities to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the annual budget, strategic plans, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
* Analyse financial performance, including project costs, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
* Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, with actionable insights and recommendations.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to construction projects and company performance, providing variance analyses against budgets and forecasts.
* Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
* Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and department heads to provide financial insights and support ongoing projects.
* Assist in tendering processes with financial evaluations, cost analysis, and risk assessments.
* Develop financial models and scenarios to support business planning, investment decisions, and project evaluations.
* Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and revenue enhancements.
* Monitor and manage financial risks associated with construction projects, recommending mitigation strategies where necessary.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
* Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
Candidate Requirements:
* Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, supported by a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) ideally achieved.
* Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other data analysis tools).
* Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools is a strong advantage.
