What's the job?Reporting to the Retail Contract Services Manager, this is a supportive role responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the coordination of retail services to contribute to B&Q's overall success.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities: Building effective relationships with relevant stakeholders in stores, SSO, and external vendors/service providers.Support Retail Services Manager to improve processes, looking for efficiencies and streamlining where possible.Responsible for shared inbox and responding to queries within the agreed SLAs.With the support of the Retail & Property Finance team, investigate store controllable cost queries.Work with the retail process team to simplify and create new processes and maintain the Retail Services SharePoint pages.Support with contract negotiations, extensions, and tenders for all retail services and GNFR vendors, working collaboratively with procurement and internal and external legal teams.Provide and analyze accurate reporting on performance and year-to-date spend and earnings by supplier/vendor to establish insights for use in tender and rate negotiations.Support with vendor review meetings and occasional visits to vendor sites and stores.Where required, build and/or manage the functionality of dashboards/reporting.What we need:Required Skills & Experience: Organized and efficientExcellent attention to detailAble to anticipate issues and have a proactive approach to problem-solvingProficient in using Microsoft Office packagesProficient in using reporting toolsGood communication skills, both written and verbalGood engagement and influencing skillsFamiliarity with store operations through previous experience (desirable)Drives for simplicity in all aspects of work to improve the business for colleagues & customers.What's in it for me?As part of a great team, you'll be valued for who you are.
