The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in driving the organization's recruitment strategy — both domestic and international — to attract top talent, improve employee retention, and ensure a positive employee experience across the entire employee journey.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the HRBP will oversee the Recruitment Manager and collaborate closely with organizations within the Broadlake family.
This office-based role requires significant stakeholder engagement to implement HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals, including the 3X10X journey and fostering a workplace culture aligned with the H.A.V.E.
strategy.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Talent Acquisition and Recruitment · Develop and lead recruitment strategies for both domestic and international hires, ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
· Collaborate on overseas recruitment initiatives, including talent mapping and strategic hiring plans.
· Oversee the Recruitment Manager to ensure alignment with organizational needs, with a focus on employee retention, team stability, and maintaining a diverse, skilled workforce.
· Travel as needed to OSC locations across Ireland and potentially overseas to support recruitment and onboarding efforts.
Employee Retention and Engagement · Implement innovative initiatives to enhance employee retention, focusing on professional development, job satisfaction, and alignment with organizational values.
· Oversee and streamline the onboarding process, creating a seamless journey for new employees, particularly international recruits.
· Promote leadership development through targeted training and mentorship programs.
Employee Experience and Culture Development · Partner with stakeholders to design and implement HR policies, ensuring alignment with Irish employment legislation and best practices.
· Foster a workplace culture that prioritizes performance, inclusivity, and resilience, in line with OSC's mission.
· Manage the rollout of performance management models, succession planning, and talent mapping across departments.
HR Operations and Compliance · Formulate, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and processes to maintain compliance with Irish employment laws.
· Support the delivery of HR projects, including change management initiatives and organizational restructuring.
· Provide expert guidance on employment matters, including performance management and employee relations.
Key Requirements Education & Qualifications · A third-level degree in HR or a related discipline (CIPD qualification desirable).
Experience · A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar HR Business Partner or senior HR role.
· Proven track record of managing teams and working at a senior level, with a strong background in HR business partnering.
· Experience in the hiring process and recruitment strategies, particularly for international roles.
· Demonstrable success in delivering talent mapping, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
· Proficiency in formulating and implementing HR policies and processes.
Skills & Attributes · Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation.
· Highly effective communicator with experience in stakeholder management, capable of influencing and building strong partnerships.
· Proficient in handling multiple HR projects, including planning and execution.
· Full clean driver's license.
