Initial Base: Rathgar, Dublin 6
Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders to defined catchment areas, with an under 18 population of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow. Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.
SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER
Permanent, Full Time (35hrs)
Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled Senior Social Worker to work in the CAMHS HUB. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pilot project developing services for young people presenting in crisis.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above and the successful candidate shall:
* Have the National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or equivalent and be registered with the Social Workers Registration Board of CORU as a Social Worker;
* Have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience of social work, including experience in CAMHS;
* Have experience of involvement in developing policy, procedures and service provision;
* Be clearly able to demonstrate their competence and ability to provide leadership, supervision, effective therapeutic intervention and skill in organizing and planning;
* Further post graduate training in related area and/or research skills an advantage;
* A full clean Drivers License.
Remuneration:
Salary Grade 3019 Social Worker Senior Medical on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale.
Initial location:
The initial location of this role is Rathgar, Dublin 6. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
