What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience: Have at least 1 year of Homecare experience in Ireland, at least 2 Core Modules of QQI level 5 in Health & Social care - Care Skills and Care of the Older person and working towards Full QQI level 5 in Health & Social Care.
Driver's Licence: Hold a full driving licence with access to a car.
Communication Skills: Good standard of English - both spoken and written.
Flexibility: Must be available to work alternative weekends.
Desirable criteria: Have excellent interpersonal skills, an empathic approach to people, be highly organised, and have excellent time management skills.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* To be responsible for staff shadowing - ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* To undertake emergency over - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges).
* To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns.
* Checking and collecting journal notes from clients' houses.
* Delivery of Careplans, log sheets and gloves to client's homes when required.
* Delivery of PPE.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as required*
