The Wayfinding Centre are seeking a Part Time Cleaner based in Glasnevin, Co Dublin.
Contracted hours: 15 hours per week.
Shift times : 2pm to 5pm.
Generally shifts operate between Monday to Friday but flexibility is required surrounding days and times of work.
Location: Botanic Road, Dublin 9.

The Wayfinding Centre is currently seeking a new team member with cleaning and light maintenance experience in our unique facility.
Read more about our exciting journey on our website here: Home - The WayFinding Centre Duties & Responsibilities will include: Perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure all areas of the building are maintained to a high standard.
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
Clean and sanitise restrooms regularly throughout the day.
Clean and maintain small kitchenette Monitor and replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Clean and maintain different types of flooring.
Report any damages or maintenance issues to the Wayfinding Centre Manager.
Clean windows and glass surfaces to maintain a clear and polished appearance.
Undertake specialised cleaning tasks, as required.
This includes high pressure hosing wet areas, cleaning our transport modules and Changing Places facility.
Work closely with other members of the Wayfinding Centre team to coordinate cleaning schedules and address urgent cleaning needs.
Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment stock.
As required to clean all skirting boards, windowsills, guide rails.
To maintain a safe environment at all times & comply with Health & Safety regulations.
To ensure that all materials are stored appropriately.
To ensure the premises safety & security is maintained.
To carry out any other duties consistent with the grade of the post.

Selection Criteria Reporting to the Wayfinding Centre Manager or another nominated officer, the ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in commercial or office cleaning.
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and equipment.
To be able to work to a daily schedule Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines A positive attitude towards people with disabilities Flexible working approach Good interpersonal skills Willingness to undertake training in line with the role Minimum B2 standard of English required Desirable: To have obtained any or all of the following: Health & Safety at work First Aid Manual Handling Certificate Food Hygiene Garda Vetting will be conducted for the recommended candidate(s) in accordance with the Vision Ireland Garda Vetting policy.
