A prestigious multinational corporation is seeking a dedicated IT Service Desk Analyst to join its Cork office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for IT support queries, providing efficient and effective solutions to end-users.
2. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktop and laptop systems.
3. Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
4. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams while ensuring timely resolution.
5. Document all support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
6. Participate in the creation and maintenance of IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Requirements:
7. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
8. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support or service desk role.
9. Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
10. Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and IT service management tools.
11. ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience.
12. Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
