Job Description
The role of Procurement Manager - IT/Telecoms is within the telecommunication space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor relationship management and experience working with leading suppliers in the IT space.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver category plans and sourcing activities through planning and execution of sourcing strategy
* Identify business improvements leveraging commercial, design and process to minimize total costs
* Collaborate with business unit teams to execute and deliver category plan & sourcing activities against key metrics
* Adhere to procurement processes and activities with other procurement teams
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives and key transformational programmes
* Manage and deliver category spend and performance
* Develop and deliver policies and frameworks underpinning product and service delivery
* Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements utilising latest contracting tools, templates and terms and conditions,
Required Skills:
* Relevant experience as a leader within the Procurement function with strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate and deliver through high performance teams
* Strong business expertise in relevant category
* Demonstrates track record of decision-making capability and deliver against key metrics
* Experience in business partnering and supplier relationship management
