Job Description: Data Scientist, Marketing Analytics
Google is seeking a Data Scientist specializing in Marketing Analytics to join our team in Dublin, Ireland, or Warsaw, Poland. This role involves working with large clients to measure and optimize marketing ROI through advanced modeling and analytics.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
* At least 3 years of experience in analytics related to product or business problems, including coding (Python, R, SQL), database querying, or statistical analysis, or a relevant PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2 years of experience delivering insights from Machine Learning to clients, including problem scoping, modeling, and interpretation.
* 2 years of experience with digital analytics and measurement solutions.
* Understanding of statistical algorithms used in Marketing Analytics.
* Proficiency in Computer Vision and NLP, especially in marketing contexts, with the ability to leverage generative AI technologies.
About the Role:
You will lead data science initiatives in marketing effectiveness and portfolio management, collaborate with clients to develop models addressing their key business issues, and translate data insights into strategic recommendations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to scale solutions and foster innovation.
Responsibilities:
* Lead data science efforts in client engagements, focusing on marketing effectiveness using ML and statistics.
* Collaborate with clients to identify issues and develop end-to-end modeling frameworks.
* Assess data and model readiness, and scale proof-of-concept solutions.
* Translate model results into actionable insights for decision-making and present findings to clients.
* Work with Product and Engineering teams to enhance capabilities and drive innovation.
