A global leader in the technology industry is seeking a GPU Power Verification Engineer to join their team in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge low-power verification for high-performance computing solutions.
They are considering various levels of experience from 1-5+ years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with architecture and design teams to understand low-power design features and create verification plans.
* Develop and document test plans, ensuring alignment with design team requirements.
* Create and integrate verification components and testbenches for low-power verification, including third-party VIPs/UVCs.
* Establish a constraint-random verification environment using SystemVerilog and UVM.
* Conduct Power-Aware Verification in a random environment with embedded firmware running on the design.
* Execute regression testing and achieve Low Power coverage metrics to maintain high-quality design standards.
* Develop portable verification setups and components for use across simulation and emulation platforms.
* Debug hardware-software failures involving co-debugging methodologies.
* Collaborate with tool vendors to enhance verification flows.
* Support SoC DV for integration verification, chip bring-up, and post-silicon debugging.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1+ years of experience with SystemVerilog and OVM/UVM-based constrained random verification.
* Hands-on experience in:
o Developing verification components/UVCs and testbenches for RTL verification.
o Testbench bring-up, integrating third-party VIPs, digital design, verification, and debugging.
o UPF-based Power Aware verification.
o Strong understanding of low-power SoC design, including clock gates, level shifters, isolation cells, and state retention cells.
o Experience in Low Power coverage metrics collection and closure.
o Familiarity with GPU, CPU, DDR, and bus architectures.
