We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our Maintenance Division. As a key member of the mechanical department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Contract Managers/Supervisors to plan, schedule, and execute work
* Liaise and negotiate with clients and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes
* Conduct regular QS meetings with clients to agree on measures and timelines
* Prepare pre-measured budget costs and measurement for final account/interim valuations
* Manage contract administration and cost control
Requirements:
* C&G Level 2&3 in Mechanical Engineering Services
* Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
* IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
* Excellent communication and team-working skills
* Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience working with Measured Term Contracts
* Knowledge of Amtech Contract Costing software
* HNC Building Services Engineering or higher qualification
