Pearts Solicitors and Town Agents are seeking to recruit an experienced Law Clerk/Legal Executive, on a full time, office-based basis for their busy Court Filings/Litigation Department within the Town Agency.
Key responsibilities:
1. Be part of a team in the preparation of court documents for filing in court offices and assist with any queries as they arise;
2. Guiding our clients as they work with the Courts Service;
3. Attending to the filing and service of court documents;
4. Attend on Counsel across the Superior Courts;
5. General office duties to include preparation of registered post and documents for service by hand;
6. Dealing with routine correspondence, letters, emails, reports;
7. Accurately file correspondence including email correspondence relating to instructions;
8. Answering phone calls and assisting clients with their queries.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
1. 3+ years’ experience in a similar role;
2. Strong IT, communication and interpersonal skills;
3. An ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines;
4. Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritise workload;
5. Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible and adaptable when the need arises.
