We are excited to invite Senior Data Modellers to join our Group Data and Analytics Office (GDAO) team and help us achieve our data strategy goals.
About the Role
* Be responsible for development of key Bank data models via interaction with major change and/or regulatory programs e.g. BCBS, SRB
* Support the development of robust processes, standards and documentation for Data Modelling
* Work as part of the Group Data Modelling team that will help enhance internal modelling capability more broadly across the Group and also build and develop the Data Modelling Team
* Be heavily involved in transforming the Bank's reporting and data analytics processes and capabilities through the development of standardised and integrated data stores
* Work as part of a wider design capability and be involved in understanding project requirements and how these will impact the bank data model, working as part of an agile delivery squad
* Support the data modelling team lead in ways of working and enhancements to the as-is process for data modelling
* Lead out on complex data modelling designs and obtain alignment and consensus for proposed data model updates from the modelling community
About You
* You have 8+ years proven business, logical and physical data modelling experience for a large complex enterprise, both development and maintenance, with a pragmatic balance between business need and modelling approach.
* You are a leader and demonstrate the ability to develop a pipeline of talent with an agile delivery mind-set and experience of working in an agile organisation.
* You can extract accurate user requirements and be able to relate those to already available model content or prototype required extensions to existing.
* You possess the ability to creatively solve problems with innovative solutions, where sometimes a 'template' or process does not exist.
* You have the ability to work independently or as part of a wider team and have experience guiding and mentoring junior data modellers on the team.
