As an IT Support Engineer at Club Travel Ltd, you will perform 1st and 2nd Level IT Support for all our staff.
We have staff working on premises and remotely.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
The position is based in our Dublin City centre office and is a full-time role based in the Club Travel offices.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Support & Troubleshooting:Provide 1st and 2nd line IT Support to employees using Jira Service Desk.Troubleshoot and support travel industry-specific systems and applications.Install, configure, and maintain company devices, including desktops, laptops.System & Network Administration:Manage user accounts, email configurations, and IT access controls.Ensure stable network connectivity and troubleshoot internet or system outages.Follow Escalation Processes and Procedures.Support and maintain office printers and all other IT Hardware.Software & Application Support:Provide support for Microsoft Office and other business applications.Liaise with IT Service Providers.Manage the Company IT Equipment Asset Register.Security & Data Management:Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.Perform Daily Checks on Backups and other IT Systems.Monitor Vulnerabilities and escalate potential risks.User Training & Documentation:Maintain IT Documentation, including troubleshooting guides and system configurations.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of IT support experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows Operating Systems and basic networking.Experience with Microsoft365, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Fluent English is a mustPreferredExperience with Linux (Ubuntu) advantageousExperience with Firewalls and SwitchesKnowledge of Azure Cloud Services and Remote IT Support Tools.IT certifications would be advantageous.Additional InformationCandidates must be eligible to work full time in Ireland (9.00am to 5.30pm) Monday – Friday and in the case of visa holders, the visa must be valid for at least 24 months.
