Electronic Health Record (EHR) Senior Application Analyst for Integrations (Grade VI) This is an exciting time to join the new Electronic Health Record (EHR) team as a Senior Application Analyst for Integrations (Grade VI).
This role will be varied, fast-paced and you'll be part of a team dedicated to implementing the EHR for the new CHI hospital which is due to open in 2025.
Purpose of the Role: Children's Health Ireland is looking for Clinical Systems Integration Analyst with hands-on and active tech experience in software or integration development and support.
The Integration Analyst will assist and support the ICT function in the design, development, maintenance and support of our Integration Engine, interfaces and supporting tools.
Having been provided the necessary training on our Integration Engine(s) the Integration Analyst will utilise this skillset in the development, testing, support and maintenance of application integrations and interfaces supporting both clinical and non-clinical business processes.
The successful candidate will have good technical skills in the areas of data, databases, ETL, data migrations and software development.
They will also have strong SQL experience.
The successful candidate will form part of the Integration and Migration Team within the Digital Health Department at CHI where their role and skills will pivotal to the success of the CHI programme and the transition to the New Children's Hospital.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their role duties.
CHI are engaging is an extremely large developmental and change management process as we move to the new hospital and new ways of working.
Essential Criteria: A third level degree/post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline such as Health Information Systems, Information Technology or Interoperability plus a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a relevant and similar role or Or 4+ years' experience in a relevant/similar role. And Experience in software development in languages such as C++, C#, VB, Java, JavaScript, JQuery and PHP and consuming / working with web services and APIs Demonstrated working knowledge of database engines such as Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL, SQL scripting and stored procedures and ETL Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, solve problems, establish priorities effectively and liaison with internal and external parties to resolve issues Proven critical thinking skills, follow through, and attention to detail.
