Mater Private Network is seeking to recruit a highly organised and detail-oriented theatre attendant with a passion for providing exceptional support in a fast-paced healthcare environment to join our team in the theatre department.
About the Role: As a Theatre Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care.
You will be responsible for managing stock, handling instruments, ensuring the smooth flow of specimens and pharmacy supplies, and maintaining a clean and organised environment.
Your commitment to efficiency and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our theatre department Duties and Responsibilities: Stock Management: Ordering, receiving, and organising sterile and non-sterile consumables, maintaining accurate stock levels, and conducting regular audits.
Instrument Management: Receiving, scanning, and organising sterile instruments, managing loan sets, and liaising with the Central Decontamination Unit.
Specimen and Pharmacy Support: Delivering specimens to the Laboratory and X-ray, distributing pharmacy supplies, and maintaining medical fridges.
General Support: Assisting with collections and deliveries, maintaining a clean and organised theatre environment, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Team Collaboration: Working effectively as part of a team, providing support to clinical staff, and participating in training and development activities.
Ability to learn computer skills.
