The Position:
The ADI Automotive Battery Management System (BMS) team is developing leading edge BMS solutions (wired and wireless) and innovative Battery insight algorithms, enabling industry leading automotive OEMs to bring their next generation electric vehicles to the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development efforts and communications between a number of geographical distributed development teams and Automotive OEM / T1 customers, monitoring the individual projects through their Development Lifecycles while meeting customer goals. The position reports to the Director of Project/Program Management within the Business Unit.
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Work closely with key stakeholders such as Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to develop a clear definition for the program that meets customer requirements and aligned with AES strategic goals.
2. Work closely with business teams to develop any necessary contractual material (SOW, Quality requirements etc.) in support of projects.
3. Develop the execution plans for assigned projects. This includes working with functional team leadership to build a schedule, staffing plan, risk analysis and mitigation plan and budget in support of project goals. A working knowledge of ADIs product lifecycle tool (PLE) and supporting internal development processes is required.
4. Oversee the successful execution of the projects:Manage the program attributes; schedule, scope, budget, and staffing; ensure individual projects stay on track and within budgetary commitments.Continually evaluate risks and take appropriate action to mitigate.Work closely with functional team leads to ensure project deliverables and dependencies are being met.Coordinate the day-to-day program activities, priorities, meetings, and communications ensuring alignment across all cross-functional teams while optimizing performance at a program level.
5. Serve as the focal point for communications. Compile regular status updates for all stakeholders and effectively escalate critical issues and risks as necessary.
6. Ensure projects are developed in compliance with specified internal, customer and automotive industry standards, processes, and procedures.
7. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring post-release lessons learned activities for the program are completed and lessons learned are applied to future programs.

8. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. (PMI certification a plus but not required).
9. Strong working knowledge of ADIs development processes for Silicon, Software and Systems
10. Minimum of 5 years industry experience, preferably with some background in silicon development or electronics systems design.
11. Proven success in leading large cross functional teams through influence.
12. Experience with multi-site, multi-geographical development is desired.
13. Strong planning and organizations skills; must be able to set and manage priorities, adapt to change, track progress of activities, issues, risks and deliverables to closure.
14. A problem solver who is able to quickly assess situations, collect relevant information or input from subject matter experts and drive manageable solutions.
15. Able to act decisively and make clear timely decisions that are in the best interests of the project.
16. Be creative and innovative. Demonstrate a willingness to explore new options to bridge program challenges or improve processes.
