Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Coordinator to provide full-time support to our busy operations team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in freight operations with strong route planning skills and a good geographical knowledge of the Island of Ireland and UK.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in Import Key Account management, operations planning, general administrative duties, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
* Complete day-to-day processing of import manifests and bookings in line with company policy and procedures.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Meet operational day-to-day delivery needs of customers in the most cost-efficient and effective manner.
* Ensure files are managed accordingly, and billing and costing are input and processed as per company procedures and time frames.
* Communicate with other departments as well as external parties to resolve discrepancies raised by agents.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of similar experience.
* Previous office administration experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of the Logistics/Freight Industry is a distinct advantage.
* Good communication skills with proven work performance results.
* Exposure to working to KPIs and delivering same.
* Demonstrated ability to speak and write English fluently.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Reports.
* Professional and focused approach with high attention to detail.
* Customer-focused with a desire to strive for excellence.
