In a nutshell
As a Senior Cloud Architect at Eurofins, you will support our global IT Application development teams to move towards a cloud-first and DevOps mind-set and transition many of our applications to be deployed, run and operated via automation in the public cloud.
Where will you be based and what business will you support?
Based in Dublin, Ireland, you will be part of a geographically dispersed IT Architecture team with a focus on supporting our global IT Application development teams.
How can you help us?
* Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering Team in defining cloud Standards and Governance;
* Collaborate with product development to define their technology transition into the cloud;
* Evangelise DevOps/Cloud culture and practices throughout the business;
* Define and standardise tooling;
* Improve software performance metrics;
* Be a trusted hands-on advisor for IaC and CI/CD pipelines;
* Automation of processes, testing and security;
* Document standards in readiness for governance approval;
* Consult with business to build new channels between development and operations teams.
Qualifications
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
* At least 5 years of experience in Cloud architecture (Azure); including high-level designs, cloud governance and related technical documentation;
* Strong general experience in both Multi Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and On-premises environments.
* Hands-on experience with Terraform and Cloudformation;
* Hands-on experience of Kubernetes and containerisation;
* Knowledge of DevOps tooling, Collaboration tools, Application Lifecycle Management tools, Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Serverless tools, Source and version control tools, CI/CD delivery tools, Continuous testing/security testing tools, Release Orchestration tools, Monitoring tools, Analytics tools;
* Experience with CI/CD and GitOps pipelines;
* The ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently and drive them to completion;
* The ability to work independently and effectively under pressure while identifying ambiguity and driving for clarity;
* The ability to motivate and influence others.

* A strong collaborator, able to build relationships with both leaders and team members;
* Capable to establish trust based on outstanding expertise with stakeholders;
* Capable of adapting quickly to a complex distributed organization;
* Detail oriented;
What else should I know?
* Experience in working with distributed teams or offshore teams is a plus.
* Vendor Specific cloud certifications, Architect, DevOps are also a plus!
