Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Sales Business Analyst to support our sales team by analysing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. The successful candidate will have a proven background in data analysis, business intelligence tools, and an in-depth understanding of business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis, Interpretation, Reporting:
* Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets, publicly available and other relevant data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
* Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis.
Business Intelligence Tools:
* Utilise business intelligence tools to create visualizations and reports.
* Utilise data to identify opportunities for business growth.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular validation and cleansing.
Collaboration and Communication:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
* Collaborate with the Commercial team to analyse customer data to drive business growth.
* Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Process Improvement:
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data analysis efficiency.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
* Recommend and implement new tools and technologies to improve data analysis capabilities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualification:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or in a related field or equivalent.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Sales Business Analyst, commercial analyst, finance role, or in a similar role.
* Proficient with business tools / advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Commercial acumen and interest in developing business and sales strategy.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
